Several Mondays each month, Compassion International sponsors link up to share the news from their sponsored children around the world.
Last week, we received a letter from Kazihizina in Rwanda.
The first thing I noticed when I pulled the letter from the envelope, was that she has decorated the paper with sticker we had sent her last year. I couldn’t help but think of the journey those stickers took, from New York to Colorado to Rwanda and back again!
“Thank you for the letters you sent me. It made me happy, so you did good. You are always in my heart. Myself and my mother loves you so much together with your family also.”
Ah, I just love this sweet closing to her letter. We don’t hear from Kazihzina very often, but we keep sending our love and prayers her way, hoping she knows how special she is to us!
Today, I received copies of Yishak’s updated profile photo. He has grown a lot in the three years we’ve been blessed to know him.
