Sunday Praise

I know I have shared this video a couple of months ago, but it deserves another play.  I was able to see Leeland in concert in December and he brought me to tears during most of his performance.

Follow You is one of my very favorite songs and the words really touch my heart.

One more song from Britt Nicole, who is such an amazing role model for young girls.  We are huge Britt fans and were lucky enough to see her in concert last April and even got to meet her.  Such a sweet, sweet girl.

I hope you all have a great Sunday!

Thank you for encouraging me. We live in a rural area and I find myself discouraged often about JESUS being real or just a Sunday thing... or a performance. I can come here and read along with several others and I feel the Spirit here... and through others words.. I am so thankful.

I hope that all makes sense.

Hi Michelle - I'm de-lurking today (MLK day - no work for me today!) I found your website via Shaun Groves about (?) six months ago. I found my church on 01/03/2010 and it has totally changed my life! I too am a "recovering Catholic" (altho I thought "I" coined that phrase!) I only now know how much I am loved, and that I am forgiven through Jesus Christ. It makes me sad that I've only recently learned those things given the fact that I am 53 years old! I was baptized on 6/27/2010 and got married on 8/28/2010 - yes, 2010 was a BIG year for me. We sponsor a Compassion kid (as of March, yes, 2010) and I became an Advocate a few months ago. I haven't done any Advocate "work" yet (a few minor health issues the last few months) but am very anxious to get my first event under my belt! You inspire me due to all the hard work you put into your CK and your role as an Advocate, thank you.
Other personal stuff: I have one daughter who will turn 21 in March. I have 3 stepchildren - 2 teenage girls (16, and 18) and a stepson, 21. We live in snowy, cold Minnesota (it's beautiful!) but I'm originally from Wisconsin - I moved to MN 5 1/2 years ago.
See why I haven't commented before? I tend to write short novels! Peace, Kim

Teena, it DOES all make sense to me. I hear what you are saying and I think that for many, Jesus IS just "a Sunday thing". Not for me and my house, though! I am glad that you find encouragement through these blogs! That is a wonderful thing!

Kim, I loved reading your novel!! :D I think you are going to LOVE working your first Compassion event. I know I do! Nice to meet another "recovering Catholic" who has found the Truth. <3
