~Humble Praises~

When the idea first came to me, to try to get all nine of the available children from Precious’ project in Ghana sponsored, the doubt inside of myself said, “Yeah, right. You’ve got BIG dreams, girl!” What should have come to mind right away was, not the size of my dreams, but the power of our very BIG God.

First, little Cephus was chosen, out of the nine. Then, beautiful little Florence was given an amazing birthday gift. This morning, I received a message that both George and Isaac were showing up as sponsored. I am just SO happy. I am rejoicing! I am thrilled!

I hope that my readers know that I am very aware of how this isn’t about me at all. Yes, I get completely smiley and giddy when I find out another child was sponsored, but I know without a doubt that this is about the children and our amazing God. I am just a servant, here to plant seeds and pray that they become Fruit for God’s Glory.

I do know who sponsored Cephus and Florence, but if you are the proud new sponsors for George or Isaac, would you do me a favor and let me know? Not only would I like to keep in contact, I would also love to send you a little gift to show my appreciation. I am so very grateful.

If you are feeling prompted to share this precious connection with us and sponsor a child in this amazing Compassion International project in Ghana, you still have the chance. There are still several beautiful children waiting for you.

Hannah

Emmanuella

Derrick (Now sponsored!)

Kenneth (Now sponsored!)

and

Samuel

Pray about it and if you do step up to sponsor one of these children, please let me know!

Praising God with you, Michelle!

You were faithful to speak up and He's bringing in the harvest. So many times when we speak, it feels as if no one is listening. How encouraging this must be for you (and all of us!)

I'm praying for these precious children today.

Thank you for commenting on my blog! I started sponsoring a little girl in Peru (that I blogged about) about 10 months ago. I have loved every minute of it...sending letters, pictures, etc. I'm so glad I found your blog. I love the video in the post below. One day our church had an entire morning about Compassion and we saw that video! How powerful!

that is awesome! This make ME giddy! WOW!

Alyssa (my 13 yr old) and I have been going to the compassion.com and looking at all the children who need sponsors.... we pick 4 and she prays for 2 and I pray for 2 and then about a week later we go look and see if they are gone. IT has been amazing how the children are gone! A couple took longer and we prayed MORE... it is amazing how to see God work and how it is growing our faith....

Much love, Michelle.
Hugs,
Teena

Hannah is showing up as still available, but I am praying that it won't be long!

I'm so sorry...I clicked on her name twice this morning and it said that she was not available that someone had chosen her (maybe not the exact words) so I was sure that she had found someone and now of course that is not the case...sorry for my mistake- praying.

Oh, that's ok! See, what happens is, if someone clicks on her picture on her Compassion page, it registers that she has been selected. If the transaction isn't finished within 50 minutes she goes back online. If you see a message saying "this child has been selected" than they MAY have been chosen. If you click the link and it takes you to the main Compassion page with 12 children's photos, you know the transaction was finished and they were sponsored.
