The Importance of Letter Writing

My friend, Kees Boer, posted this interview video on Facebook this morning.  Time and time again, I am reminded of the importance of those letters we send to our children. They make such a difference!  Please commit to writing to your Compassion International children on a regular basis.

I've been working here on my next round of letters! :) I've finished all of my friend cards, and written a couple of my children's letters. Hopefully by the end of this crazy Christmas week I'll be finished with the other two and get them in the mail. :D

This really makes me want to try harder at getting more than one letter out per month! And I might try Jessica's approach for sending letters to friends, too. I think I can, I think I can... LOL

I have letters ready to take to the post office today. I have so much fun doing this. I hope I'm not sending too much at a time. take a look here http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=38923&id=100000723913845&l=9280895e4b
and tell me if you think it is too much to send at one time. thanks for all your encouragement to us.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm always curious how people find me... ;)
I need to write a Christmas letter to my sponsored child. :( Somehow it takes a lot more effort because I need to be in the mental space to write in Spanish. Lame, I just need to do it! The one I write in English was done last week.
