Giveaway Winners!!

We got home from church later than expected after packing our Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. What a blessing it is to be a part of bringing joy to children in poverty! (I was able to get a few pictures before my camera batteries died, so I will post them soon!)

At any rate, I had Kaya and Luna each drew a name once we got home. Luna drew Teena and Kaya drew Faithlikemustard!!

If you could both email me at 3girlsmama at gmail dot com and give me your address, I will get your books out in the mail in the next few days.

I did not have anyone start a sponsorship through my Compassion International  link, so I will figure out a different way to give away the other books in the future!

Congratulations to the winners!  I really, really enjoyed reading about all of your children!

Yay! I'm so excited! My girls will LOVE reading this book. Maybe it will help them understand our sponsored child better. Thanks again!

Congratulations, Faithlikemustard and Teena! :-)

We did our Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes today and had so much fun. The kids love that I set them free in the store and let them choose!

Although I didn't respond to your other post, I talked things over with dh and we plan to sponsor a child shortly. I just wanted you to know that your blog is making a difference and I have definitely been moved to sponsor. I am Roman Catholic, not Saved Christian, hope you don't hold that against me ;).

Peace and blessings,

Am I the Teena? Oh my. I am filled with emotion. I just finished skyping with Mandi who has been in Kenya for 6 wks and will be home Wednesday. I am overwhelmed with emotion... sad, happy, thankful.

I came here to read... and saw my name. I thought... me? Really?

I think I will wrap it and we will open it during the Christmas season.

I know it will take a while for her to adjust back to her new normal.

her blog is

if you want to read. She doesn't have many who read or comment.

YOU are making a difference with your blog... and your advocacy to Compassion. Mandi wants to become an Advocate... it is such an awesome organization. She vistied the Compassion Project in Kenya this past week.... as you can see I am just overwhelmed.

Yes, you, Teena!! :D Congrats!!
I have to say, I just happened to log into our Compassion account and saw that, somehow, we were assigned another correspondence child. It was some sort of human error that we know God directed. Her name is Alice, she lives in Kenya (KE386) and she is just beautiful. <3 So, I am even MORE excited to hear about Mandi's travels. :)
Lisa, I am so happy to hear that you're considering sponsoring. Please, do me a favor and email me at the above address once you do and let me know. I'll send you a copy of the book, ok? (By the way, I do believe Catholics can be saved. )

Awe, Michelle...I'm jealous about your accidental correspondence child. I called to get on the correspondence waiting list as soon as I learned about it. Still waiting... :(
